Classes, Training, and Coaching
Taking Scott’s class was one of the best experiences I’ve had. I was new to storytelling and not sure that it was for me or that I could even do it. Scott’s class changed that. As an instructor, he is kind, gentle in giving his very thoughtful critical feedback, and most of all, he allows me complete ownership of my story ... In preparing for any storytelling event, I harken back to all the lessons from his class. They stay with me. I can honestly say that my Moth Grand Slam win had so much to do with what I learned in his class.

I sought storytelling instruction from Scott to more effectively communicate my ideas, tell a brand’s story, and lead teams toward a common vision. Scott brings his same, proven storytelling philosophy to corporations, nonprofits, and creative agencies as he listens to their needs and crafts engaging workshops that guide them in telling their stories.

We invited Scott to present at our all staff meeting. He provided an engaging and valuable overview of storytelling that helped to build institutional buy-in and foster collaboration across multi departments. His clarity of presentation, memorable examples, and practical tips made a huge impression on our staff and had immediate benefit for our organization.

As a student, his classes helped me find and believe in my voice as a storyteller but it's through working with him that I find Scott really inspiring. There are only a handful of people in the city with his passion and commitment to storytelling, to teaching others the art of it and working to spread as many people's story as possible. He works so hard and is so enthusiastic that it motivates me to push myself even further.
